SUMMARY:Totoro 80’s Pop Rock
DESCRIPTION:Totoro plays 1980’s pop rock\, plus whatever else seems cool.  Its six members all played in other bands before\, but all agree this is the best band ever.  Drummer KJ toured the east coast in a 2000’s punk band\, and lead guitarist David toured the east coast in a 2000’s horn-based funk band.  Singer Jaime recorded an indie-rock album with her husband and an… oboeist?  It’s indie rock\, so…  Bass player Michael has also played in numerous bands because (1) he’s an incredible bassist\, and (2) it’s incredibly easy to get gigs as a bassist.  Guitarist Ryan also previously played in a 1980’s-ish band in the DC area\, and keyboard player Jared plays a jazz piano gig on Tuesdays at Takoma Station Tavern in DC.  They formed as a band in Hyattsville\, MD in 2019\, took a break for COVID\, and started up again in early 2022.  All they want to do is to make you want to dance. \nFREE ENTRY!
