Briana Kennedi is a 22-year-old, indie rock/singer-songwriter from Maryland. She was first introduced to music by her father who played the trumpet and never let go of his boombox. He would show her artists ranging from Sade to Aerosmith. This combined to create a unique taste in music for her as she began to play the violin and saxophone in 4th grade. Growing up 40 minutes from Washington D.C. meant that she journeyed frequently into the city. And during those car rides she had no choice but to sit with her mind. As she’s grown up those thoughts have turned into emotions that have to be poured into songs.

Kind of Christine is a space for Christine to uncover & nurture versions of herself she runs from: her grief, rage, regrets, anxieties, hopes & everything in between.

Christine mixes indie rock with influences from pop, folk, blues, classical piano & more. As a multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, singing) & third culture Korean American, she constantly draws inspiration from her surroundings.
